Why offer free courses?
These course offerings are part of a broader initiative aimed at increasing Biblical literacy and giving back to the Christian & Missionary Alliance community. Our desire is to use the tools and resources that God has entrusted us with to help people know the story and great teachings of the Bible. In a virtual era, we want to serve the church by offering specific online courses which will promote biblical knowledge.
What will these courses look like?
They are in the format of a seven week course that looks very similar to an online college course, but it is based on a learning mastery model. To make the most of each course, you should read select passages from the Bible, read the course textbooks, engage in weekly discussions and collaborative projects, and complete the weekly learning mastery quizzes. These quizzes are designed to help you master the most important information related to the topic of your course. To get the most out of each course, you should anticipate spending approximately 10 hours per week in reading, discussions, and collaborative learning.
